Busan Fireworks Festival 2026 Tickets: R vs S Seats, Booking and Arrival Guide

The 21st Busan Fireworks Festival is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026. International visitors should use the official English NOL World listing, where published regular prices are KRW 100,000 for R seating and KRW 70,000 for S seating. Check live inventory during checkout, bring the required identification and plan to reach your seat before 18:00 by public transport.

Quick decision: Buy a reserved ticket if the fireworks are a major part of your trip and you want a defined Gwangalli seating area. Choose R for a table-and-chair setup or S for a chair-only seat. Do not rely on last-minute inventory, nearby parking or guaranteed access to an unticketed viewing area.

The official English reservation page publishes the regular-sales period as September 4 at 14:00 through November 6 at 17:00. This window does not guarantee that tickets or preferred sections will remain available; verify inventory during checkout.

Use only the current 2026 map when choosing a section. A previous festival layout may not reflect this event’s locations, orientation, inventory or seat assignments.

R vs S seats: which ticket should you choose?

Category alone does not establish that a seat is closer, more central or better for every fireworks effect. Review the official map and the seat information shown during checkout before deciding.

How international visitors should book

The official international channel is the NOL World English listing. Its current terms require passport verification.

1. Confirm that tickets remain available for November 7.
2. Review the live seat map, ticket category, collection method and restrictions.
3. Enter the purchaser’s details exactly as required for verification.
4. Check accepted payment methods and the cancellation, change and weather policies before paying.
5. Save the booking confirmation and bring the physical identification required by the final instructions.

Busan resident discount

Most short-term international visitors should buy a regular ticket. The current listing offers a 10% Busan resident discount, but a foreign national claiming it must present an Alien Registration Card or Domestic Residence Report Card showing a Busan address.

Eligibility is verified in person. Under the published rules, a customer unable to provide the required proof must pay the regular-price difference or may be refused entry. A passport or temporary accommodation in Busan does not replace the specified residency document.

Ticket collection and identification

The current ticket notice states that bookings made from October 12 onward are available through on-site collection only. Earlier bookings may have advance-delivery eligibility, but international delivery should not be assumed. Confirm the eligible address or collection instructions during booking.

• Carry the booking confirmation and required physical identification.
• Check the official collection location and opening time before leaving your accommodation.
• Allow time for collection, identity checks and crowd routing.
• For regular tickets, the current rules permit proxy collection with a copy of the purchaser’s ID and the booking confirmation.
• Discount tickets cannot be transferred or collected by proxy under the current rules.

Arrival and transport plan

The current ticket notice lists entry from 15:00 and says ticket holders who are not at their assigned seats by 18:00 may be denied entry without a refund. Treat 18:00 as a deadline rather than a target arrival time.

• Before 15:00: Check event notices, save your ticket documents and eat before approaching the busiest area.
• 15:00–17:00: Collect tickets if necessary and enter the reserved zone.
• Before 18:00: Be at the assigned seat, not merely near the beach or metro.
• After the show: Allow for slow movement and avoid a tightly timed flight, train or intercity bus connection.

The official location guidance recommends public transport and states that parking will not be available near the festival area. Busan Metro Line 2 is the practical starting point for reaching Gwangalli, but final station exits and pedestrian routes may be adjusted for crowd control.

The reviewed official pages did not yet include a final 2026 traffic-control map as of September 20. Recheck the festival site, Busan city notices and metro updates shortly before November 7 rather than using a previous year’s closure map.

If possible, choose accommodation within walking distance of Gwangalli or near Metro Line 2. Post-event road and transit times may differ from normal conditions, so a tight same-night departure is a higher-risk plan.

Can you watch without a ticket?

The festival extends beyond the paid Gwangalli seating zone, but current official information does not guarantee unticketed access, capacity or an unobstructed view at Gwangalli, Igidae or Dongbaekseom. Public areas may be restricted for crowd management or safety. Buy a reserved ticket if having a defined viewing area is important to the trip.

Wheelchair-accessible seating

The current NOL World notice says wheelchair-accessible seats require telephone booking through ticket customer service and that separate chairs are not provided in that area. Before making other arrangements, confirm companion seating, the entry route, ticket collection and available accessibility support with the ticket platform. Do not assume a regular online seat can be exchanged at the venue.
